In history, drumming has had a significant role in people’s lives all over the world. Drumming is the calling together of community, it is the keeper of the stories, it is the way we grieve and how we celebrate. In this tradition we are calling the community to come and drum and dance with us at Drum Day on June 19. This is a free mini festival of the drum for the community so that we may stand together as one. At Drum Day we will take part in a drum circle, watch performances, eat pizza and have a good time celebrating the rhythm within us all.
